These shifters do just that, with the multi-release feature allowing two gear shifts and instant release for quick shifting, this shifters are extremely fast. The two-way release allows for shifting from different hand positions or just different riding styles. Also, the XTR Rapid Fire Shifters are an easy way for the weight conscious to shed off some extra grams, though slightly pricey.
