Review: Bike shoes are usually not the most aesthetically pleasing things to look at, much less walk in. Sixsixone’s Filter SPD is almost the exact opposite. The skate style look to the shoe will have most wondering how the bike is attached to your foot. The Velcro and lace keep your foot securely in place; while the rubber sole lets you use regular flat pedals as well. Sixsixone claims that they are also for casual use, but I will say with the SPD cleat installed, they still make the infamous clicking noise when you walk. Overall the shoe seems to be well built, but only time will be the say to that. I will update the review after the shoe has gone through some excessive beating and see how they hold up.
